When you upload a document, it is read into your browser's local sandbox memory. Pages flagged for deletion are omitted while all preserved pages are compiled into a fresh PDF file directly on your computer or smartphone.
Standard web tools crash when handling PDFs over 50MB because browsers enforce strict memory limits per tab. PDFMaster solves this by using a Tiered Low-RAM Architecture.
When your PDF exceeds 50MB, the master byte buffer is moved into your browser's persistent IndexedDB storage, freeing active RAM immediately. Thumbnail rendering is throttled with micro-yields, and during document export, data is streamed on demand. This guarantees fast performance and zero tab crashes.
As you interact with the tool, your document binary data,
filename, and marked page selections are automatically synced
to an IndexedDB store named pdfmaster_delete_db.
If you accidentally close your tab or refresh the page, PDFMaster detects the saved session and displays a flashing recovery indicator on the top navigation bar, along with a prompt to restore your exact workspace with one click.

grid, or enter ranges such as

No. The tool performs a lossless page copy operation. The original vector fonts, high-definition raster images, annotations, form elements, and page dimensions of the preserved pages are copied byte-for-byte without re-encoding or downscaling.
Absolutely. The tool includes dedicated Undo and Redo buttons,
and also listens for standard keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Z
to undo, Ctrl+Y or Ctrl+Shift+Z to
redo). You can also click individual marked cards to restore
them at any point before clicking download.
A PDF document must contain at least one valid page to be readable by PDF viewers. If you mark all pages for deletion, the tool will alert you and disable the download button until at least one page is kept.
